January 2023 - February 2023

Hello Students,

As always time goes by so quickly. The full day of school has resumed and soon we will be able to take off our masks too! I hope you all have a lovely Lunar New Year holiday. Where did you go? What did you do? You can always share your news with Teacher Ham. Remember, my motto - Don’t be shy – just give it a try!

Are you keeping to your New Year resolutions? For some people, they are already a distant memory but if you have a dream or target, it’s important to dedicate time and commitment to it. You may revisit the video below:

During one assembly for P4-6 on the 1st February, I gave a short presentation in the hall about the benefits of Positive Values. You may re-visit the page I created to view some of the concepts behind positive thinking and why it is very important for us. We are what we think!

As always, if you wish to draw a picture, write a poem or short story about Positive Values and / or to express your feelings about it please do so. You may pass it on to me and if you like, I will upload it to our page. We are always happy to showcase the wonderful talents our students have.

So far, our students in P1, P2 and P3 have completed Units 1-3, 7-9 & 13-15 respectively. We are now busy with Units 4, 10 and 16. If you wish to view more Space Town resources, click below:

In the last blog, I asked two questions about football. Here are the answers:

Which country has won the most World Cups? – Brazil with 5 wins

How many countries have won the World Cup? – Eight countries in total – Argentina (3), Brazil (5), England (1), France (2), West Germany/Germany (4), Italy (4), Spain (1) & Uruguay (2).

Keep working hard and stay safe.

Teacher Ham
