The Radio Drama Club was founded in the 2018-2019 year and our teams have since entered the Smart Education English Radio Drama Team every year. Our records are:

2018-2019: Semi-Finalists

2019-2020: Finalists (Top 5)

2020-2021: Semi-Finalists

2021-2022: Semi-Finalists

2022-2023: Semi-Finalists

 

Radio Drama allows students to develop their English skills in listening, speaking and reading alongside generic skills such as teamwork and IT Technology.

Synopsis – Parting and Reunion

Carole Day, known as ‘Hong Kong’s Wisest Agony Aunt’ to her many listeners is the presenter of popular daytime radio show, ‘Carole Cares’ on KFM Radio. The show that really cares about people. Carole has dedicated the last fifteen years of her life to helping ordinary people share their worries and dreams by offering advice, kind words and sometimes even a shoulder to cry on. One day she welcomes three local ladies to discuss the topic of, ‘Parting and Reunion’. Each guest has a different story to tell and as the sharing unfolds, something unexpected happens that prompts Carole to share a difficult issue unfolding in her own life.

Due to COVID-19, starting from the 2020-2021 & 2021-2022 academic years, lessons were conducted via ZOOM. For the 2022-2023 academic year, lessons will be conducted face to face at school and students will make a final recording in the TV room. This year, our story is called, ‘Parting and Reunion’.
